Did my dermatologist do this too hastily?

i had a blackhead extraction procedure done,


it successfully got rid of all my blackheads.





but she didn't use steam or anything to help with the pain.


all she did was poke/stab the pores with blackheads with a very sharp needle


then scraped the impurities out





i'm just curious to know,


was this the right procedure?


my nose bled a lot afterwards (the surface, from the scraping)


and it hurt a lotDid my dermatologist do this too hastily?
Wow that does sound painful! I had a facial where they used steam to open my pores which made it easier to get the blackheads out. I wasn't in much pain from it and it worked beautifully. Sounds like you went to a butcher!
