Facial specialist at dermatologist's office - are they paid hourly, commission, bonus?

Does a facialist, who works at a dermatologist's office, get paid hourly or commission.

If they do a less expensive treatment, will their pay check be less?

Will they recommend a more expensive facial because they will get more money in their pay check?

Or do they get a set paycheck regardless of how many facials they do or how expenive the facial is?Facial specialist at dermatologist's office - are they paid hourly, commission, bonus?
If the person works for a major medical center or at a specialty clinic that provides services such as face lifts, dermabrasion, laser treatments, etc. they are probably salaried (get a set amount of pay each month) and do not receive a commission. Sometimes bonuses are shared at the end of the year with the medical group, if the year is profitable. Working in this type environment is excellent because the facialist is free to recommend the best treatment for the patient, regardless of cost. The job requires specialized training and board certification.
