If you're asking this question, it means that you already finished high school, right? That means that you should have already taken chemistry, biology, physics, and calculus.

To become dermatologist, you have to go to medical school, but in order to go to medical school, it is recommended to take this classes.

1] Organic Chemistry

2] Physics

3] Calculus

Once you've gotten your 4 year degree from an accredited school and taken the MCAT, then you finally go to medical school. There when you've been accepted at one of the medical schools, you study about medicines all 4 years there. There the science based curriculum is will include:

1] Clinical human anatomy and gross anatomy

2] Biochemistry

3] Physiology

4] Histology

5] Microbiology

6] Pathology

During your year two of medical school, you'll take the first part of the United States Medical Licensing Examination [or USMLE] so that it helps to gauge how well a student can apply basic sciences to the practice of medicine. The second part of the exam is taken usually during medical school student's senior year and the third part typically during first year of residency.

Anything you want. You will need to go to medical school after college, and then apply for a dermatology residency (very competitive) once you are in medical school. You are looking at 4 years college + 4 years med school + 4 years residency - MINIMUM. You will need pre-requisites that med schools require - so most people end up being a biology major - but that is not your only option. What do i have to major in college in order to become a dermatologist? please help :)?
To become a dermatologist, a bachelor's degree in a science discipline is required, followed by four years of medical school and a residency specializing in dermatology.
I believe you would have to major in biology or biochemistry.
