If it is expensive, what kind of methods/products will fade these marks? (mederma doesn't work)
Heard it was really expensive. A friends acne medication was over $200 so I can't imagine how much it will be for me.Is the dermatologist expensive?
Usually laser and micro-dermabrasion are not covered by insurance because it is considered cosmetic. My dermatologist was doing it at $200 a treatment and recommended 6-12 treatments.
I use Retin A Micro. It's covered by my insurance so I pay $25 for every refill. It's evened out my skin tone a lot. The marks are not scars so Mederma won't work. You need to allow your skin to exfoliate to get rid of the marks called hyperpigmentation. It takes time but Retin A speeds up the exfoliation process. There are also at home micro-peels you can do that will help. Olay Regenerist had a decent one for about $25.Is the dermatologist expensive?
You could look into purchasing your very own abrasive products and do it yourself. Oil of olay has some great products. Have you tried Pro-active, I have seen remarkable results from people who have used it. Yes, the dermatologist will be expensive, although you might be given a lot of samples to try out first at your very first visit. Most dermatologists do that for their patients with the hopes that they'll return. Good luck!
not if you have good insurance.
Laser treatments are EXPENSIVE anywhere from 2000-4000 depending on how many you do and where you go.
Yes, its costly alright!!! just use dermacare or proactiv. its clear skin on a budjet.
well if its that important to you get a loan...
mine was $100 for 5 microderms but they were having a special, i don't know how much it costs now
The medication can be expensive and any procedures will vary and depending on where you go can get pricey. But the visit itself should range 50 - 130 dollars depending on your area.
acne on cheeks could be an indication of too much tomatoes and potatoes in your diet try dove foaming face wash and maybe a 15 dollar face toning machine
all drs are expensive go on state health insurance
Laser treatments is your best bet. You need to really shop around for an affordable doctor. try aloe vera before paying
for it.
see the dermatologist as a consult for your skin problems. your primary care doctor can write a referral that will be covered by insurance. discuss options at the appointment.
