Hi. I'm curious about the hype Dermatologist are promoting and that is Thermage or Thermacool, RF controlled

heat, I understand the theory and suspect that it works, but I think there is also other methods that can be used at no expense to get from a to z. Meaning Collagen Shrinkage starts at a temperature of 150 F. Is there a means of heating your skin to that degree by using filament light, steam heat, radiant heat from a fire place, heat gun, ect. What is the damage to top layers of skin if it comes in contact with this temperature. Thank You Lori...Hi. If you can withstand such heat it will definitely burn your skin. But this is not the idea of thermacool. The idea is to heat the inside layer of the skin while cooling the outside skin. If you can do that without RF then fine.
