Too minor for a dermatologist?

I'm thinking about going to a dermatologist for advice on skin care. Maybe looking into my skin type and an anti aging plan? Is this too minor to see a dermatologist?

I've only know people to go a dermatologist because they have acne or some disease. I'm 28 and I don't have skin trouble except for the occasional pimple.Too minor for a dermatologist?
He would probably be suprised that your in his office. But if you explain it as preventative care, he should understand. However, your insurance might find that as cosmetic and not necessary. Might want to check with your insurance, or if you want to pay out of pocket, then go for it.Too minor for a dermatologist?
The best anti-aging products I have found are available through Nutrimetics by Avalla. The products are naturally based. Nutrimetics offers highly effective and economical products that contain no cheap fillers, harsh chemicals or petro-chemicals (e.g., mineral oil, drying alcohols, or animal by-products).

The best product for anti-aging is called Nutri-Rich Oil. It was the founding product of Nutrimetics. There was a group of people called the Hunzas that were written about in National Geographic. They used apricot kernel oil to prevent wrinkles and the signs of aging. This group of people lived to be well into their 80s and 90s with NO wrinkles.

Nutri-Rich Oil contains this jewel, apricot kernel oil. In fact, it takes 42 pounds of apricots to make just one jar. This is an awesome nighttime treatment for your face. Just use a pea-sized drop every night before bed for soft skin that will be fighting wrinkles. It is also a good product for dry elbows, heels, burns, scars, protection from the hair dryer damaging your hair, a dollop will soften your entire body if you add it to your bath water, great for diaper rash, too. This product will last about 10 months if you are only using a 1/2 pea to a pea sized amount once a day. It is worth its weight in gold!!

Good luck to you!
No, this is fine, but I would chose a dermatologist that specialises in anti-ageing treatments. I would highly suggest enquiring about the Obagi products for anti-ageing. For acne, the best topicals are benzyol peroixde treatments such as Proactive and Benzac. HTH : )
use proactive...if u only have and occasional pimple dont waste ur money on a dermatologist
well i mean if you dont have skin trouble u might not need to start an anti-aging plan, but going to a dermatoligst to see when you might need to start one and for skin advice is perfectly fine.
I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.
If you have the money, or insurance, I think you should go. This is the prime time for you to take care of your skin. I am only 25 and I use anti wrinkle cream around my eyes, but I'm hoping when I'm forty, I'll be happy I spent the time and money to take care of my skin while I was young!
try Proactive i heard that works well well my mom uses it
