You can start right off being one, but you need about 3 years of experience so volunteer to be an intern real young and you can put that down for experience.

Find out where you want to work and their experience range (if not an exact number) get the median experience range as an intern after medical school.

In high school, you will be have to take many required classes for graduation. A dermatologist is a medical doctor who specializes in disorders of the skin. In order to become a dermatologist, you will need to go to medical school so I would put considerable effort into all your high school classes and especially everything related to math, science and writing. These will be important towards your future career and acceptance into the college and medical school of your choice. Good luck! Study hard!

A dermatologist nurse does NOT need to go to medical school.

To become a dermatologist, you will need to spend apx12 years in school after high school. Your grades in high school are important for getting into the university and med school. Your studies will include:

4 years of university

4 years of medical school

1 year of internship (if you take all these years in school(

3 years of dermatology school

Now...there are colleges that mix a real college and medical school. I can email you information bout those and condense 8 years into 6! There is probably a way to shrink dermatology school as well. I can find out for you? At least one year internship, I am afraid.

To be a dermatologist you need to always get training every few years to keep up. I would say take a course every 5 years. Some never leave training.

If you tell me your location i can give you a grand salary pay for that or any job with premium results!

If you don't go to medical school you will most likely make under 100,000 dollars.

Now like me, the spa business might interest you? You could make a lot of MILLIONS with an m...and you are almost guaranteed to have at least how much as you make as a dermatologist! Just get a great location. LA!! Make it big. get a loan. hire a lot of staff. charge everything over 80 bucks and all massages over 115. I can give you much more information about that as well.

And yes, all information is free.

If you become the owner of a spa you can than hire and be the boss of dermatologists! =o)

I can give you more information if you'd like.

You're welcome.

A dermatologist is a medical doctor, so you would need to go to college and do a pre-med curricula (biology, physics, calculus, chemistry etc) and then apply to med school and do 4 years there, then internship %26amp; a residency.

In high school focus on getting good grades, doing extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership, creativity, responsibility, initiative, etc. Take as many science classes as you can but keep a well-rounded education in mind as well. Good luck.
