What course sholud be taken if you want to be a dermatologist?

So, you want to be a Dermatologist? What should you study?





1) Graduate from a college or university -- probably with a degree in science or related field (Biology,Chemistry,etc)


2) Enter medical school and complete your education


3) Continue your studies by going in to Dermatology (that would be your specialty) This may include more years of study doing Residency in the field of Dermatology


4) Pass the Medical Boards for your M.D. and Dermatology

you're gonna need more than one course and why don't you ask your college counselor? Or go online to the college degree requirements page. It tells you specifically the MANY classes you'll need to be a dermatologist. Each state is going to be different.
You would have to go to medical school and then specialiize in dermatology. It's not required that you major in anything, but it's recommended. Some of the prerequisite college courses for med school are general chemistry 1 and 2, organic chemistry 1 and 2, biology 1 and 2, physics 1 and 2, and anatomy and physiology.
