There may not be one in Newark but I know there is one in New Jersey. There aren't many around. I have a friend in Hopatcong, NJ who took her dog to one. I'd call the closest School of Veterinary Medicine (my guess it is Cornell or University of Pennsylvania) and ask for recommendations if your own vet can't help you find someone.
